about me

I was born in Greece, but my life took its first big detour at one year old, when my family moved to Australia. I grew up there, between Griffith NSW, the ACT, Melbourne, and Tasmania, spending more than half my life in Australia before eventually returning to Paros for family reasons. The island feels both new and familiar – a place I knew as a child and rediscovered as an adult.

I studied Fine Art (BA) at the Victorian College of Arts and built a career as a graphic designer, working for more than fifteen years across branding, digital design, and creative problem‑solving. Art, however, was always the constant thread. I work in acrylic, pastel, sculpture, mixed media, and found materials – anything with texture, history, or potential. I’m drawn to things that have lived a life already: objects with scratches, stories, or a bit of humour hiding in them.

Outside the studio, I’m a lifelong dog lover. For years I bred and showed standard poodles, and I still work as a dog groomer – a craft that taught me patience, precision, and how to see beauty in structure and detail. Those skills often sneak into my artwork in unexpected ways.

Today, my life and work are rooted on Paros. The island’s light, its weathered surfaces, its quiet corners, and its contradictions shape the way I create. My art is a mix of Greek roots, Australian upbringing, Cycladic landscape, and the playful curiosity that has followed me everywhere.
